Our President

Osteopathic manual practitioner, Honorable Professor Daniel Nuzum, NMD, ND, PhD, COMP, the Minister of Health for the Southern Cherokee Nation & the Red Fire Nation in the United States is now the elected new president of American Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (AAOMP).

Dr Nuzum is a world famous osteopathic manual practitioner while also being a professor at the National University of Medical Sciences in Naples, Florida, USA (www.numss.us), National University of Medical Sciences in Madrid, Spain (www.numss.com) and National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (www.nationalacademyofosteopathy.com). In addition to teaching manual osteopathic techniques at NUMSS (USA), NUMSS (Spain) and NAO (Canada), Dr Nuzum works as an osteopathic manual practitioner in his hometown of Idaho, owning and operating clinics # 146 and 147 of the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada in that state.

One of the first agenda for Dr Nuzum is to get Osteopathic Manual Practice (known as manual osteopathy outside the US) recognized as a separate distinct profession from American style osteopathic medicine (osteopathy).

We are optimistic that under leadership of Dr Nuzum the osteopathic manual practice profession would advance greatly in the States.
